63-81 Pelham Street Planning Application

A planning application has been received for the development of 63-81 Pelham Street by the Wellcome Trust. The application involves knocking down and rebuilding the building at double its current size. This proposed large scale development will overlook the rear of South Terrace and Thurloe Square and will transform the character of Pelham Street.  

It is important residents views are heard. A coalition of local residents and businesses has set up the SOS Save Our South Kensington campaign website which you can visit to find out more about the plans.

Important Tube Station Planning Application

A planning application has been received for the development of the South Kensington tube station area by TfL and developer Native Land. This proposal promises to utterly transform our neighbourhood, both over the next few years and in the long-term, with the large scale demolition of existing buildings and their replacement with taller ones, and the construction of 4 and 5 storey new buildings where there are currently none.
